Let me close with the mistakes I see buyers make — and some I've made myself.

Don't let the vendor rush you. "This price is only valid for 48 hours" is a pressure tactic. I've placed orders with four different medical equipment vendors since 2022. Every single one extended the pricing when I called back.

Don't skip site preparation. Our CBCT installation required specific electrical work and floor reinforcement. That cost wasn't in the original quote. Verify requirements before you commit, not after.

Read the warranty terms slowly. Some warranties cover parts but not labor. Some require manufacturer-certified service for everything, including software updates. The difference can be thousands of dollars over the machine's life.
